A completely natural immersion

A compressed air tank, fins and a mask are enough to encourage you to discover the unique underwater landscape. We are equipped with high quality diving equipment and a PADI (Professional Association of Diving Instructors) certification that guarantees a fully trained and personalized accompaniment, from the beginning to the end of this experience. On average, an immersion can last between 40 to 50 minutes, where you can see with greater tranquility and clarity the landscape and coral reefs, making this an unforgettable memory and ensuring that each experience is unique.

The depth will depend on the level of certification that the diver counts on. From the first time you touch the water, you will enjoy a first class dive, with a calm sea, crystal clear waters and rich wildlife.

Even if you are not certified yet, you can also dive in and enjoy this experience and also get certified with us enjoying coral landscapes. In the case of certified divers, there will be a review of how to use the equipment and about the different signals that are going to be needed underwater.

How deep do you dive?

Beginners can achieve a depth of maximum 8 meters, while divers with advanced certificates exceed depths of up to 30 meters. No matter which is going to be your level, our entire teaching methodology is PADI. For those who do not want to certify, but want to live this experience, they must be part of the mini diving course (for beginners), where participants get all the instructions and a full basic training in a pool, learning from how to use the equipment, to developing different skills that are necessary under and out of the water.

Sustainability under the sea

Following the sustainability idea developed by Hotel Las Islas, we seek to generate in people a unique perspective of the marine world, about the importance and vitality that it has.

A commitment is needed to understand and disseminate the importance that should be attached to the protection and conservation of multiple ecosystems in the ocean, and the proper management of non-organic waste.

At Hotel Las Islas we have multiple nurseries for the reproduction of corals and the protection of endangered species, controlling in that way different invasive species, such as lionfish. If at this moment the excitement of seeing others immersed in the wonders of the aquatic world has taken part of you, do not think about it anymore and schedule your next vacation at Barú.
